About Jolanda
Jolanda was born and raised in Suriname, South America. She is from the village of Apoera in West Suriname. She is 100% Arawak, Native South American. Jolanda immigrated to the U.S. in the year 2000 after meeting her husband while he served in the United States Peace Corps. She always has enjoyed flavorful food and she has a gift for creating spicy and delicious meals and recipes. She has always had a knack for reverse-engineering a variety of different types of dishes and loves to share with friends, neighbors and family. She started making salsas over eight years ago and has creatively added an assortment of different delicious flavors. Sharing her delicious creations is very fulfilling to Jolanda and it makes her happy when she hears about and sees people enjoying her food!
